Stevie Nimmo of the legendary Nimmo Brothers has been touring Europe extensively with his latest project, the Stevie Nimmo Trio.

The Stevie Nimmo Trio is a fully electrified blues power trio featuring Mat Beable on Bass, Craig Bacon on drums, and the band namesake, Stevie Nimmo, on guitar. The band has been wowing audiences across Europe whilst introducing them to some of Stevie’s newest material along with tracks from his superb Wynds of Life album. Stevie’s last album was recorded in Austin, Texas and could be typecast as being Americana with its acoustic vibe. More recently, Stevie has returned to his more familiar blues rock sound.

Stevie took time on the road to talk to us at National Blues Review about the band, his influences, the Nimmo Brothers, and his plans for 2015.
